How much does a wedding DJ cost in the Niagara Region?
Lavish Entertainment wedding packages run from $500 for ceremony-only sound to $3,900 for the Ultimate Wedding Experience. Reception Only is $1,200, the Essential full-day package is $1,700, and the most-booked Signature package is $2,400 and includes MC service, a ten-fixture lighting system and haze. Every package runs through to 1am.
What time do your packages finish?
All wedding packages run through to 1am. Any hour beyond that is $100, arranged in advance and subject to your venue’s curfew.
Is an MC included?
MC service is included in the Signature ($2,400) and Ultimate ($3,900) packages. On the Ceremony Only, Reception Only and Essential packages it is a $200 add-on. It is worth deciding early, because announcements and introductions shape the whole reception timeline.
How much do you charge for corporate events and private parties?
Corporate events, galas, birthdays and anniversaries are quoted individually, because the room, the running order and the equipment needed vary far more than they do for weddings. Get in touch with your date and venue and you will have a written quote back within 24 hours.
How does the deposit work?
A deposit reserves your date the moment you book. The remaining balance is due 14 days before the event, and the deposit is fully refundable within 7 days of booking.
Can we pick the music?
Yes. Every booking includes a planning form for must-plays, do-not-plays, and special dances. From there, live reads of the room fill in the rest of the night.
Do you travel outside the Niagara Region?
Travel within 50 kilometres is included, which covers the entire Niagara Region. Beyond that a travel fee is quoted with your booking — just note the venue in your inquiry.
What happens if equipment fails during our event?
Every critical piece of gear — mixer, speakers, microphones, laptop — travels with a backup. In ten years, no event has stopped for a technical failure.
Are you insured?
Yes, fully insured with liability coverage. Certificates of insurance are available for any venue that requires one, which most Niagara banquet halls and wineries do.
How far in advance should we book a wedding DJ?
Most couples book 9 to 14 months out. Peak Niagara dates — Saturdays from June through September, and any long weekend — go first, often more than a year ahead.
